Reviews:

starsBarely connected with FPGA, Practical? No
I was thus disappointed, after I read the book. I had expected to receive some practical examples over einfuehrendes DSP in the FPGA.I regret which I lower by the name of the book and some reports definitely not of sillicon was tightened. Excluded in chapter1"introduction", legend I hardly registers some fundamental FPGA of concepts, how this book was called as "DSP with FPGA". It supplies mathemetical models, diagrams for each DSP a component, I to lot with believes that it is many more useful to the letter of a PhD thesis instead of for using as turn consulting in the industry. If you expect, some practical examples over einfuehrendes DSP in FPGA too received, this book could be not a choice.

starsExcellent for DSP Implementations
In this book Dr gets to Meyer Baese Baese into its industrial/proffessional experience of catches from DSP with FPGAS. Loosely different FPGA/Hardware of books straight speak about theoretical/concetual/abstract level DSP. Here the main focus is the practical implementation of the different DSP of components of everything from the multipliers to the separate Wavelet Trasform. Each of these components seperately discussed chapter-intelligent is and by applications supplemented and also source program in VHDL and in Verilog (mostly in the attached CD) if you straight to know would like, what a FFT is then this book, is not for you, but, if you liked to insert this in the small articles then, this are the book.

starsDSP with FPGAs
"Digital Signal Processing with Field Programmable Gate Arrays" covers most of the popular DSP applications in good detail.
Before you buy this book I would highly recommend reading "Understanding DSP" by Rick Lyons.

Once you understand the fundamentals of DSP this book will help you decide on the best implementation
of each algorithm using a step by step approach. The author also weighs up the pros and cons of each algorithm.

starsVery highly recommended by an expert in the field
This book is well written and covered many of the aspects by DSP with FPGAs. I let a business, which specializes exclusively in high achievement DSP Design with FPGAs run. This book, which covers quite much it all, actually it corresponds near, the material we in our DSP for FPGAs seminar to us represents. I recommend much in high of degrees this book. The following is contents of the book, which are not registered differently on Amazon: 1. Intro, which goes beyond FPGA architecture, 25 pages 2. Computer arithmetic. Covers computer arithmetic of the bevel of the small articles. Includes distributed arithmetic and cordic discussion, 46 sides, 3. FIR filters 34 pages 4. IIR filters 24 pages 5. Multi-rate signal processing -- Dezimierung
