An excellent text on GSM
It is a large text on the GM/M, covering the interface of air of GM/M as well as the standards of network management such as the use of SS7 and CHART of GM/M. This book is an excellent complement with another book of Room of Artech, the intelligent network management without wire, which covers the mobile IN the aspects of the GM/M, including the CHART of GM/M, of the INAP, the CAMEL, and the relative applications.

I am a communication engineer and i already red some books of GSM.I find that book very good from the view of the technical side.Protocols have been written in details.very reccomended.


An excellent overview on the GSM related protocols
The author presents each aspect in the concise and precise ways. Undoubtedly, it is readable even to the beginner of the GM/M. However, I think that the book can improve considerably if wages more attention on (i) the use of a layer of CHART
