Reviews:

starsNEC 2005 Handbook of limited value
I have had my authorization matrix of the electrician for 21 year but necessary to study for an authorization matrix in an other it declares. They have been a contractor electrical worker and I declare the electrotechnical inspector. I have studied for approximately 100 hours using the codebook normal and have used this "handbook" like reference. A lot has been disappointed in nearly every how much single time that I have had a question or something was little clear was absolutely reference to "the complex" edition here. It has seemed as the obvious one has been explained "in other words" but the roba hard it has been ignored. I realize that "the roba hard" it is subjective and my review recognizes that one. In this handbook the semplicistiche editions are repeated or an image is indicated which he is probably large for the principianti or the apprentices. They are not sure why not there are nearly explanation or examples as far as complicated editions more than code and nearly no useful calculations of service of the cargo, the local p0wer source or the construction. I would suggest not to count on this book if wished to exceed a test matrix.

starsElectric Code Book
This book is required in order to obtain an electrical contractor's license in the state of Georgia.

starsVery Good Reference Book for Electricians
This book is very well, it was one heads small expensive however.

starsthis is the top of the line
this is everything i would ask for in a code book. it has details and is very comprehensive. this code book is great for keeping everything up to code.in reality sometimes compromises need to be make for pratical sake, electical inspectors i've dealt with understand that too. sure follow the book to perfectlly in a test exam but in real life something are not going to be happening.

starsImportant Resource
Wanting to make internal wiring systems safer is the right thing to do. However, knowing how to meet that goal has never been more difficult. And with internal wiring systems more complex than ever, having a resource that provides correct answers about the NEC rules along with details in a simple explaination, is even more useful. That's exactly what the NEC 2005 Handbook does.

I have used this resource for years and can always count on it to provide answers in a clear and concise manner. The latest Handbook continues to improve with the increased use of illustrations and expanded discussions to help the reader know the NEC rule specifics... while helping in its understanding.

The Handbook is a "must have" reference if you are serious about doing all you can to meet the safety goals of the NEC Rules.

starsstudent use
This book is very better than the red book standard of code this has more useful information with the pics and the tables that are more useful and the linguette are large Marches that find the alot of the sections easier.

starsNational Electrical Code 2005 Handbook
This book really helped me. Not being an Electrician but a tradeworker in the midst of a carreer change. It was difficult for me to read and comprehend the 2005 National Electrical Code book without the help of this handbook. The pictures are helpful, and the examples for the calculations really worked for me. This book is quite large and full of great information. I would recomend it for anyone.

starsAbsolutely a Must Have for Anyone Involved with Electricity and Electrical Equipment
The code national electrical worker is a code internationally accepted of emergency for the connections of feeding and electrical workers. Specific necessary the minimal dispositions for people and the property of protection from the risks as a result of the use of electricity and material electrical worker. Anyone attache' to all the phase of the industry electrical worker must be informed of like using and applying the code on the job. This authoritative handbook is based on the last review of the NEC, that it has been freed in 2005. It endures a rigorous process of review and every review 3 years from the national association of protection against fire (NFPA the NEC is an obligatory reference for anyone that electrical worker is coupled in the job at all of the sort and this book is without some doubt one confidence resource in order to understand and the application of the code. The book will be useful for is the professional who the students.

starsGreat quality book - oodles better than the paperback version
I have bought this book because I am studying in order to be an electrician. I appreciate considerable more of the version that of the book R-in.brossura is very easier to find the headings and the subtitles them of the section when been trying something. The paper is strong and polish-white man (in contrast with gray and flimsy in the book the R-in.brossura) and headings in the grassetto and have re-entered. That one cannot play like a lot, but it is many times easier to read to this version that the version that of the book R-in.brossura has been supplied from my school. The book moreover characterizes notes approximately many reviews to the code from edition 2002 therefore like the examples, the illustrations and the numerous outlines of the different regulations. The book is, even if, rather large much constructed good to 1300 pages. If you must buy a code book, this will more long last mólto of the book R-in.brossura one!

starsBUY THE HARDCOVER!!
What a waste of time, money and energy!!
This cd allows you to review the NEC 2005 handbook but you can't print the whole thing to use as a paper hardcover reference, only sections can be printed.
Why pay twice as much for a product that only has half as much value. The paper book version costs half of what this costs and you can photocopy it for reference if you want.
Also included on this disc are "read only" versions of the last three versions of the NEC (again somewhat limited if not altogether useless. Imagine dragging your computer or laptop around with you on a major construction job, ready to pull it out whenever you had a question.. consider that laptop disposable). To top it all off the program only allows two activations, so you can only install it on two computers or activate it twice online ( laptop, work or home totals three... good luck).
This product is definately the result of corporate, copyright infringement paranoia!!
