Remarkable Book
There can be some exits with the presentation of information in this book, but it is nevertheless a marvellous resource. Slocum does not try to provide an easy reference for the general design of machine. Instead of that, it provides us a focused examination of the principles and ésotériques techniques of the aspects of art. You will find monticules of useful substance in this book which is nowhere available differently.


Excellent Source
This is not the prettiest book nor is it the most clearly written. However, it is an excellent survey of techniques in precision engineering. Slocum clearly understands his stuff and trys to cover it in a reasonably comprehensive manner.


Disappointing book
This book is heavy, expensive, and printed in the very small type it is difficult to read that. The graphs are of lower quality. Moreover, it is in the same kind to walk, random model that this Prof Slocum speaks inside. I found the book in a useful way minimum.
