Used this second edition in residency and found it very helpful. Third edition was published last year, 2005 and have it on order.


A must buy for trauma and orthopaedic surgeons!
The authors are the masters of the AO school approximately the fracture administration. The AO philosophy is explained well in the text. The section on the fractures of the acetabulum and the river basin is the essence of the entire book. The main disadvantages of this job are approximately the fractures that are involved the thorn, the wrist and the hand. The section on the trauma spinal loses the relative fire. This book omits the administration of the fractures of the hand and the wrist, one sad what. The administration for the prossimale fracture of the omero enough old is adapted. The AO had developed recently many new ones implants but pointed out to mala pain in this book. Many errors of proofreading encoutered but will not be diminuiranno the value of this great job. Buy large for the clinician and a smaller resident. This book is much easy one to read and to help yougrasp the essence of the AO phiolosophy in the short time. It enjoys!
